Syria: Pakar-pakar PBB tiba di Damsyik, pelarian tiba di utara Iraq . .


GeneralKNOWLEDGE's - Syria: pakar-pakar PBB tiba di Damsyik, pelarian tiba di utara Iraq. Sebuah pasukan 20 pakar PBB tiba di Damsyik pada hari Ahad untuk mula mencari ke dalam dakwaan bahawa kedua-dua kerajaan dan pemberontak menggunakan senjata kimia di Syria.

Rundingan dengan kerajaan Syria ke atas akses telah diadakan sehingga pasukan sejak April. Sementara itu pertempuran berterusan. Rakaman dimuat naik ke laman rangkaian sosial berupa menunjukkan pemberontak serangan berhampiran pangkalan tentera Al 'Qarmid di Idlib pada hari Jumaat. Ia juga menunjukkan pengeboman menara di Damsyik.

Beribu-ribu orang yang melarikan diri dari keganasan yang merentasi sempadan ke Iraq Kurdistan, mengikut Bangsa-Bangsa Bersatu Pesuruhjaya Tinggi bagi Pelarian. Ramai yang Kurd Syria menggunakan jambatan ponton baru-baru ini dibina di atas Sungai Tigris di utara Iraq.

Beberapa orang yang telah menyaksikan menyalahkan keganasan Al ‘Qaeda berkaitan militan, seperti seorang lelaki yang berkata:. “Apa yang kebiasaan antarabangsa boleh membenarkan ini Mereka memotong kepala, kepala kanak-kanak sedang memotong Sekumpulan Al-Nusra Front telah dibenarkan penyembelihan orang Kurdish.”

Pelarian lain menyifatkan pulang keadaan: “Terdapat kebuluran di kawasan kami dan terdapat tiada pekerjaan Orang pelarian dan keadaan semakin teruk hari demi hari Dengan setiap hari yang berlalu, kerosakan yang dilakukan di negara ini menjadi lebih besar Tiada lagi keselamatan yang ada.”

Syria: UN experts arrive in Damascus, refugees arrive in northern Iraq. A team of 20 UN experts arrived in Damascus on Sunday to begin looking into allegations that both the government and rebels are using chemical weapons in Syria.

Negotiations with the Syrian government over access have held up the team since April. Meanwhile the fighting continues. Footage uploaded onto a social networking site purports to show rebel shelling near the al-Qarmid military base in Idlib on Friday. It also shows the bombing of a tower in Damascus.

Thousands of of people fleeing the violence are crossing the border into Iraqi Kurdistan, according to the United Nation High Commissioner for Refugees. Many are Syrian Kurds using a recently-constructed pontoon bridge over the Tigris in northern Iraq.

Some who have witnessed the violence blame al-Qaeda linked militants, like one man who said: "What international norms can justify this? They are cutting off heads, heads of children are being cut off. A group of Al-Nusra Front have permitted the slaughtering of Kurdish people."

Another refugee described the situation back home: "There is a famine in our area and there are no jobs. People are displaced and the situation is getting worse day by day. With every passing day, the damage inflicted on the country becomes greater. There is no more security."
